Halloween in the UK
Until I began researching Halloween for a page I wrote, I did not know that there's not much fuss over Halloween in the United Kingdom (Great Britain). As an American, I didn't believe Halloween was international in scope, but I did think that England would at least celebrate. I've actually had confirmation from UK residents that, in fact, Halloween's not much of a big deal there.
Too bad, because Halloween's my favorite holiday and although it's somewhat new as far as holidays go, it's great fun!
So don't forget to kick up your heels this October 31st, even if you are in the UK or another country that doesn't celebrate on a nation scale.
