Free Nine Inch Nails Album Download
Believe it or not, some things in life truly are free! I received a text message not long ago to visit the Nine Inch Nails site where the band's offering a completely free download of their latest album, The Slip, which hits stores July 2008. Now, at first I admit I was skeptical. Many times promotional offers like this end up having a hidden cost or need you to sign up for other services. Nine Inch Nails has no such hidden hook for their fans to deal with. The entire album's totally free and comes with a .PDF format album cover and artwork that you're free to print. So why would a band do this? Simple - it's a thank you to their fans for supporting NiN's music throughout the years. Personally, I'm delighted to share the news here and I feel it's appropriate since, even though the CD (and vinyl record) will be for sale in stores, the download will never be removed from the web nor cost anyone to download. I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity, even if you're not a Nine Inch Nails fan. They're ground breakers in the industrial music scene (think hard rock version of techno/electronic music) even if you're not into the music and decide to delete it later, it didn't cost anything to try it out! :) Once you get to the site you simply enter your e-mail and they send you a download code which you then enter. The album's available in many audio formats from super-high end right down to your average mp3, so you can choose which works best for you.
